The Gabriola Museum

The Gabriola Historical and Museum Society was organized in 1987, at the urging of William Hjort, to collect the history of the island and to build a museum in which to display it. The Gabriola Museum, built by many volunteers and donors, opened its doors on September 16, 1995.

    • November - March: CLOSED for display building
    • April & May: Sat & Sun: 1-4 PM
    • June - August: Wed to Sun: 1-4 PM
    • September - October : Sat & Sun: 1-4 PM

    • Adults: $2.00 
    • Children (under 16): Free 
    • Members: Free 
  • Annual Membership 
    • Family: $10.00 
    • Individual: $6.00 
    • Seniors: $5.00
